Will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at “The Little Theater” at Centenary College in Hackettstown.

The following WILL NOT get trout this spring:

Merrill Creek and Round Valley reservoirs, Lake Aeroflex, Clinton Reservoir, Lake Wawayanda, Sheppard Lake, White Lake, Beaver Brook, Buckhorn Creek, Capoolong Creek, Franklin Pond Creek, Furnace Brook, Hakihohake Creek, India Brook, Trout Brook, Little Flat Brook, Lopatcong Creek, Mulhockaway Creek, Peapack Brook, Pequannock River, Rockaway Creek (SB) Raritan River (SB) upstream of Lake Solitude Dam, Spruce Run Creek, Wanaque River and Whippany River.
There are 17 waters not getting trout as they are directly connected to Trout Production Streams, including Stony Lake, Silver Lake, Speedwell Lake and the Upper and Lower Saddle River.
One bright spot, if you can call it that, is because of this situation waters not scheduled for normal trout stocking, have been removed from the list or just not typically stocked will be ”this spring only” and that includes Mercer Lake getting 8,000 fish. The Raritan River below Duke’s Island Park will get 24,000 trout and Farrington Lake, just removed from the list is back on for 8,000 fish. Other receiving trout are DOD Lake, Hackensack River, below Oradel Dam, Hockhockson Brook below Tinton Falls, sections of the Passaic and Rahway rivers and Shadow Lake.

That's a fine waste for the out of state license guys like myself who bought that trout stamp.
