Just a heads up fellas! Ice update

Just wanted to give u guys a heads up did some lookin around the lake today( hapatcong) the cove at dow woodport that whole end of the lake is frozen pretty much, i grabbed some bait snuck over to the state park and worked my way out from there also good 4 inches of ice and probly inch of snowmix ice on top of that pretty solid. I was able to fish bout an hr and half there ended up jiggin couple blugills and nada on the til ups. Get ready boyz !

Thanks for the update. The snow in front of my house turned to ice and I'm in Union County. Not supposed to go above freezing until Thursday. I'll be out on Sunday, even with the warmer temps at the end of the week. Be safe guys.

Good stuff Mikey! This season is looking like it could be a good one. It's about time. Northern nj lakes also has some ice for you guys looking for a Pike. 2 of my boyz were out there today. 1 pike was caught 27 inches, LM 20 inches and abunch of big crappie and perch. Ice wasn't that good according to them, 1.5 of black with 2 inches of crud slush ice on top. All kinds of ice out there fellas. See you out there!

Water level is down 2 feet at Hop. Theres lots of muddy areas between the lake edge and water edge expect muddy boots.

Just got off the horn with Mikey Topaz. He's standing on 6-7 inches of ice half way to Bertrand island. He's fishing 12 ft of water, fishing is slow. Ice is out there waiting for us. LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
