Sunday's fishin
Finally got out on my buddy Ricky's boat for some Bass / Togs. Got to the Hook and saw the fleet already building. Birds and bass spread out. Got a few keepers, only keeping two, and releasing all the rest. Got a few more shorts, and headed to the tog grounds. First drop we got a few shorts. May a small move, got the anchor set. Started as a slow pick...about an half hour into it, it was good steady bite with 6-7 keepers in a short time. Biggest about 5lbs. Then the current really started moving, and the bite died. Fish were still there, just not in a biting mood.
Man...I love tog fishing !!!

Always a pleasure hosting fellow Tog nuts and seeing the look on your face while hooking up on several consecutive keeper tog. I'm sure this weekends trip will keep the Tog addiction growing more wild than ever.
Nothing better than good day of toggin' with a lot of laughs while roasting one another!

Good report Rich, looks like your cold weather season is off to a good start. Decent bite for us saturday with the bass and blues plus a surprise keeper tog on an ava while drifting. Sunday was much better bass fishing as we headed south. I need to swing by to catch up with the reports
