Default Jumbo Seabass and Rig

About a half hour until it gets dark and after a long productive day bottom fishing with Captain Richie and buddy Joe, Richie says - we're heading in - just after this one last half crab. I'm still getting rigged up after losing my rig to the bottom (aka typical Scotty). In a hurry, I grab a Mai Tai 4/0 Blackfish rig and tie it directly to the braid. Send it down with a big chunk of crab on each hook and about 3 seconds later its game on. Big fight - thinking its a boxer tog - it eventually comes up after a few short run offs and then we see the head. Huge seabass . Lots of yelling and cheering and then the sound of fish hitting the live well. Kudos to my buddy Mike Wells and Hotrod for the PUOSU #4 parting gift

Forgot to mention, it was 3 lb, 8 oz on the scale on land after suffering a Columbian necktie while at sea
