This happens to me a lot: trout is so damn aggressive, it beaches itself either going after a spinner or trying to shake loose.

yeah, that'll happen, fish get crazy sometimes
once i was out fishing with a buddy of mine, who was hooked up with about a 20" pickerel. he gets it close to the boat and the fish literally jumps out of the water, into the boat, and unhooks itself all at once. talk about service!
