Tough day out there today.

Hit up the Pequest, Musky and South Branch today. Only had 1 hook up with a real nice what looked to be a rainbow on the South Branch. I saw him take my worm, he was a good size so I figured when I set the hook he is gonna run. Instead he swam right up to the surface really slow, rolled on top of the water and spit the hook. I never really had a good hook set, thinking he would bolt so its half my fault I lost em. O well guess ill get em next time.

Best said, winter fishing can be TOUGH ! You got out at least. Keep a log book, write it all down.
