Thumbs up Merrill Creek Res. video, finally !

Only my 2nd attempt at making a video, baby steps !! The first clip is a little long, I had a few other clips that I thought were 3 mins. long but they were 15 mins. long, so I'm learning the editing process, SLOWLY.

I'm a floating bait barge when I hit the lakes. 95 percent of people fishing these lakes are fishing metal and plastic, but when you have an 18lb. brown and an 11 lb. brown on the wall that were caught on live bait I tend to think this is the way to fool the big ones.

Wilson and I started at the main dam but moved over a bit to get out of the wind, it's tough to live line herring in a good chop.

The debate over live bait will continue, but to me it's not just live bait, it's ALOT of live bait, as much as 12 dozen in the boat at one time. I change bait often, if they are missing scales or not swimming right, I change them out, I think that is the way to fool the big fish.

I use 2 small garbage cans in the bed of my truck to transport the bait from the bait store to the lake, each has a bubbler. The boat is a 14ft. Grumman.

Enjoy the video
