Fished the high muddy riva from 11am to 6pm. It was a good muddy color almost clear. Fished Lindy rig style all day only difference is I used a small Kastmaster as my hook for a fish attractant. 2 Eyes caught biggest 22 inches. 2 Stripers caught biggest 19 inches. 5 channel cats caught biggest 26 inches, but skinny, probably 8 lbs. Couple of dink smallies boated as well. Left the house without my red cooler bag which holds my phone, camera, cigs and bait. Had to buy lunch and cigs at QC, then had to stop at Owls nest 4 fresh bait. No pics today, didnt feel like buying a new camera at Walmart!!! All in all a good day. Get in there fellas before it becomes a raging riva again on sunday!

I hate if I forget something. Once bought a shit rod and reel when I forgot mine at home

Question, you fishing solo on these D trips?

There is a huge musky that likes to hang out by the down current side of the island. Seen it try to eat about a 10 pound carp. good luck out on the D

I walked out the door without everything this trip, didnt realize until I was at the oldwick exit on 78. Couldnt believe I left the house without my red cooler bag!!! Yes sir the BIG D is my favorite place to fish solo regardless of current high water and boulders. You never know what your gona hook up wit on da big riva!
