Default Tsunami SaltX - anyone reviews

I was originally looking at the Penn Slammer and the Penn Ambassador and now I am looking for a sealed reel that won't break the bank to use in the surf for mostly stripers and blues.

I have come across the Tsunami SaltX 6000 spinning reel to pair with my 10' Avid.

Has anyone used this reel before and any thoughts, good or bad?

I use a Gen 1 6000 for gag grouper off the piers in FL. It works. I heard the Gen 2 are improved. Ive honestly heard mixed review on them so youll likely hear good and bad. Just remember, you get what you pay more often than not.

I bit the bullet on a VS VR150 for the surf a few years back. Now I just want to upgrade to a VS and just be done with it for life lol...
