PROWLER 5 OCEAN FLUKE REPORT - JULY 9TH, 2025
Hey gang, the day started out with a nice crowd of customers again we steamed out too the fluke grounds where there was a slight heave, but not rough. We had better fishing yesterday with better conditions so we had to work a little harder. Had to bounce around on different pieces of bottom and we were able to land some nicer quality fluke. We had 3 fish in the 7-8 lbs class. Our regular Mike nailed a 7.5 lb fish, Ben had his limit again and Big Al had a couple nice ones in the bow, Mrs.Kim also starting the morning off with a 5.75lb fish. We ended the day in the low 20’s on keepers with a lot of big blue knuckle heads in the mix again and fair short action. Another fun day with quality fish caught again, Ben took over the monthly pool. It was great to be out on the grounds with some awesome people. Sailing everyday 7:30AM-2:30PM and the fare is $90, we supply spearing as bait and free ice for your catch!
