Default Ramapo River

Met up with a friend and tried the Ramapo this morning. We found rainbows scattered throughout. First pool my buddy got 5 on a Phoebe and I got 1 on my first cast with a Rapala and was thinking I caught the curse. As we moved upriver I got on them and finished with 6 to my partners 8. River was a little high slightly stained and void of other anglers. Really enjoyed getting out and trying freshwater for a change. Saw a Pileated Woodpecker on the walk back.

Default Re: Ramapo River

Nice report! Walking the river is very therapeutic and nice for a change.
