Thumbs up Raritan river 5/13/25:
Water 68*, 291 CFS, stained. Hit the usual Dukes, Robert St, Raritan Greenway.
Caught 6 or 7 stocked trout and 2 SMB, Uncle Ken got a SMB. Had about a dozen short hits/missed. Saw people collecting lamprey eels, I guess they eat them ??? Toads/frogs on the bank, lots of baitfish and crayfish too. Carried out trash at every spot.

Ive seen that guy and his friend scooping lampreys there. Rooskis... they'll eat anything! They'll fill a few coolers.
