Rockaway river 9/22/24:
They were at it again !!
DENVILLE - On Sunday afternoon, Sept. 22, a small group of 7 members of NJ Clean River Crew took time to clean debris from the Rockaway River in Denville, upstream of Savage Rd.
They removed 132 tires, a chair, a safe and an assortment of garbage. This was not their first occasion in Denville. They have been here 3 other times in the last month. In total they removed 281 tires from the Denville section of the Rockaway River.
They are all members of 4 Environmental groups that live outside of Denville:
