Time on the water is the most important thing as far as becoming a truly great angler, ,,, There was a time in my life I lived right on Raritan bay, and fished a lot.. I was a 10 percenter those years.. I caught more and bigger fish than most guys, because I knew when, where, and how.. Then life changed, time factors changed, and now I catch a LOT less than most.. Nothing sharpens your success as much as time on the water and keen observational skills.. No magic involved.. Like anything else, you need to put the time in, lots of it. Some guys fish every single day, and love it.. Others fish once a year and love it.. Guess which guy would be the better fisherman.....bob
