Default GAMBLER— Starting Date Update!

Hi Gambler friends

The Gambler is postponing our opening date of April 1st while we continue to follow Covid-19 protocol. Hopefully this will pass soon and we will get back to the fishing grounds

In the meantime, we have been deep cleaning the Gambler from top to bottom, inside and out (special thanks Abby).

We've always prided ourselves in having a clean vessel but since we have the time, we are doing even more.

Capt Bob has been down at the boat nearly everyday, fine tuning every detail. Can't wait to get back out there, see some old friends and meet some new ones.

In the mean time please share some of your favorite memories and pictures from being on the Gambler! Stay healthy and safe.

Capt Bob and Crew

Forgot what year but one of the original NJF tuna trips I think in 07 or 08. Capt Bob took us to the Lindy. That trip was flat out insanity. I’ve gotta dig around and get some pics. I’m sure guys here who are still around can help me out with this one.

60-80lb YFT. Couple of swords. Richie B with a monster wahoo on the chunk. We Briefly fought a white marlin before it popped off. MONSTER longfin at first light and finished up with mahi. Epic.

Great crew with guys I haven’t seen in a long time. Groovedog, Richie B, JDShots, Ahab, Birdsnest, Bagelboy, BeachWhistle,FamilyMatters, Capt John C,RayRod, etc.....

All the best Captain Bob and crew at the Gambler... Interesting times for sure and hopefully this crazy ride we're all on ends sooner rather than later!!

I think that was the NJF trip Andy put together with Bob. RayRod snagged that Mola-mola & the guys jigging up the starboard bow were having a blast @ first light. Those trips weren't good, they were great!!!
