Started in the PM about 3-1/2 hours before high tide. Brisk ENE wind resulted in a chop, but clarity looked good. Walked thebeach until I found peanut bunker close in, occasionally "spraying". Many casts before the 1st hit, a fat 20" bluefish. Peanuts would appear, disappear. Eventually I got 2 more blueish, 19" & 21". Action subsided, then picked in the evening on the outgoing tide w/ much less wind. Ended up getting 6 more bluefish, 22" down to 16". A 1oz Kastmaster worked well. All fish were released by me, and also by the few other fishermen that were on the beach.

A productive and relaxing time (usually with success) fishing. That's what I love about it.
Keeping catch is optional.
