Default Pine Barrens Report 10/5

I hit my spot in the pines today. Managed to land 16 fish (7 picks, 6 crappie, 2 LMB, and 1 bluegill). One of the bigger bluegill I ever caught. It was 10" and fought like hell.

Awesome report! Fishing in the pine barrens seems awesome, but I would have no idea where to start! I'll have to get down there sometime.

I have caught a few Bluegills and even a few Pumpkinseeds around that size, and "fight like hell" is the correct way to explain it.. Wish they were easy to find that size, I wouldn't fish for anything else!.. Nice catching.. Is the water you are fishing fairly clear, or is it the typical "stained" dark water that is often found in the Pine Barrons?
