Default Saturday quick hit at Prospertown.

Grandson and I fished Prospertown from 6 to 8:30 this morning. The tree spawn was thick on the water. It went from white to a chocolate brown. The coontail moss wasn't too bad. we put out mousetails and fished for Crappies. Got one nice trout within 5 minutes. It stopped fighting when its head got covered with moss. Grandson ended up with 4 and I got 2. I was surprised that the trout are still there. No crappie or sunfish this time!? The fish felt warm and hit aggressively. We missed a few on mousetails, crappie? Not a bite on the Crappie jigs. It's always great getting out with the kids/grandkids. Maybe one more time next week then switch to saltwater.
