Default Philly Phreshwater Update & Tournament Win!

Hey yall have not posted much but been fishing a lot. Crappie fishing finally has slowed but Bass fishings been good at the cockolla ponds. Carpings been good as well with solid fish every outing. Delaware still white hot although it is definitely an evening & night bite now with the mornings being slower. Channels, white & bullhead cats all been biting, perch & eels have been a real nuisance & an occasional striper has kept things interesting.
This past weekend my cousin Brandon & I fished the Cinnaminson high school lacrosse fishing tournament. A 9lb carp was weighed in Saturday so I told him we need a tarpon to win. Took him to cockolla & we went 0-5 with hooks being pulled, snells coming undone, getting cut off on trees just every bad thing that could happen was happening. The turtles were unbearable as well, finally at 10:30 pm we got a solid tarpon we estimated at 10-15lbs. took him to be weighed & came in @12.2 netting Brandon 1st place in freshwater & the overall category also meatbeater guides first tourey win Snakeheads & flatheads are now on the list to knockoff this summer any pointers are welcomed
