Fisher Price IV 10/16 AM Bottomfish / Good PM Bassing
AM - Had the Mike Conforti charter out this morning for some porgies and blackfish. Bounced around a few spots looking for the porgies with a very slow pick. Finally landed on a spot that had good life with way to many sea bass coming up that had to go back and plenty of nice blackfish to 5 lbs keeping our legal limit.
PM - This afternoon we had the Rico Diaz charter out for striped bass. Started the afternoon off with a nice pick of keepers and a bonus fish. Once the conditions fell apart we took a ride and found the birdlife. The guys went to work with the jigs and managed to land a bunch of keepers and have plenty of action with smaller fish. Ended the evening with 6 keeper bass to 14 lbs, 4 bonus tag fish and released around 30 shorts.
