GAMBLER --Great Canyon Trip Tues
We had a great trip on yellowfin and longfin tuna with the gang from Grumpy's Tackle of Seaside yesterday.
Steady one-two action in the dark on mostly yellowfin from 20 to 75lbs. Also a 75 lb swordfish was landed by Mike's daughter (I'm sorry get her name, hopefully someone will post it here with a pict) who fought it like a champ. Just before and after daybreak we had a flurry of yellowfin along with a few 25 to 35 lb yellowfin. We continued to pluck away as the sun rose, into the afternoon, right up till the time we left for home. The water was warm and full of life. Terrific weather, terrific group of guys.
