Default Saturday report

After a couple disappointing outings Tom and I decided to give the res one more shot and Dale was up for it to. Not having high hopes we hit the water around 1:30 and within 15 minutes Dale had joined us in his boat and we got our first of 7 Hybrid from about 15 to 21 or 22 inches.. I sure Dale got a few to, not sure how many or what size. We fished until about 7:30 or 8 Dale stayed a little later, hope he got a few more after we left. How did ya do buddy? We had a steady pick, no doubles, blitz's or happy hour just a fish every hour or so. We got them trolling with planners and down riggers at around 12 or 15 ft. Just a great afternoon on the water with a couple great guys. Looking forward to the Hybrid MG, picked up some Binskys and 3 way true turns at BBT today, I wanna be ready.

Yea that Grizzly bear makes a pretty good sandwich. I think 3 is pretty good considering we had 5 lines out, you had 2 maybe 3 and we had herring, I think that makes a big difference. I'm wondering if we are going to have herring for the meet and greet. What do ya think?

Thumbs up Re: Saturday report

Glad to see you guys are having fun AND catching some fish. By the looks of things they are taking a lot of water out of there to feed the rivers.

There will be PLENTY of herring for the M&G next saturday. Theres about 2500 herring in here tanks at all times and thousand more chilling in the traps on the lake. Whenever a bait shop doesnt have herring its because they didnt get the delivery, Dows uses some guy to make the deliveries to the bigger bait shops and the smaller ones uses a wholesaler she supplies. They can legally trap herring until Oct 31st then its supply/demand til it runs out. Last year I got the last dozen thanksgiving morning but they were smallish in size, still caught em up tho LOL

and BTW good to see u guys caught em up at SR, we had the same at LH over the weekend, just picking fish here and there, nothing great happening. Altho my buddy JackStraw took delivery of his 2014 Lund last week and I fished Sunday with him and we broke his Muskie cherry on LH, he landed a 40's class muskie that hit a little bitty herring pinned to the bottom, made the whole day

Yea the water level is dropping at a pretty good rate won't be too long before the ramps are on shore!!! Fish are still biting just being fussy. Think i'm done for a while there for this year. Time to start hitting the BIG POND looking for some EYE's and Stripes feeding up for winter!!!

Hey Jimmy leave one or two of those Big Boys for us!!!!!!
Never know what size bait is gonna catch those MONSTERS!!!
