Forecast for bad weather movin' in, I jumPed at this trout fishing opportunity!
Fishing has been steady last couple of weeks , but today was a special & hard! Took a shot at a spot that started with a hike through the woods, which I had done many times, before Sandy. Toddy downed tree nightmare, tough hike!! Got there five minutes nice fat jumping bow even surprised me how active she was in 42 degree water. Next up fat brookie , followed by another smaller bow. Ended with another nice bow & lost one more, my fault.Good day of winter Troutin' . The brook was about 20" first one all fall! Ya got couple of photos gotta figure out to get them outta my camera! |
