Where you out of? Boat or shore? They’ve been around since early Aug.

My boat is at Jersey City. I normally fish NY harbor and around Verrazano bridge.
we went to Breezy point today, only caught seabass , fluke and blue.

Crazy to me how porgy fishing off NJ is for the most part extremely lackluster. I catch dinner plates off the montauk south side beaches from May until late October. Porgies here are palm sized... good tuna baits lol

Caught plenty of large porgies on the Paramount yesterday, but they were pretty far offshore already. There are also a bunch at the Tin Can Grounds and the Marine Parkway Bridge.
