Common carp

Caught 5 and 3 lb common carp with ShopRite canned whole kernel corn on a long shank #4 gold hook and 4 lb test line during an algae bloom and rain storm in 94 degrees Robert G Martin Lake this evening. Both fish fought hard. It rained the past three evenings while I was fishing. Landed 41 carp this year. A shorebird was in my spot when I arrived. Fall migration has begun.

Nice job! Wow that's wild to think that shorebird migration has begun already. The summer is flying by...

Good catch man. Weather is super turbulent lately. Gotta love the summer storms.
