Default Ocean fluke woke up

After getting skunked twice last week I hit the Brielle boat for both trips yesterday hoping to get at least a fish for sashimi. I was sure surprised to find the fluke finally woke up even with the constant south winds. Plenty of fish for the jiggers but not so much for bait dragging. When the fluke hit they were very aggressive. Had to anchor with the wind in the afternoon but I still managed a 4 pound pool fish. Lots of seabass and some biggies 3-4 pounds. No south wind next week and with this hot weather I think it's game on for the summer.
