Default Red Hot Wild Brown Trout (4/12/18)

Headed out to a spot I hadnt fished in a while. With the warm weather I figured the bite would be good. I decided to give Seaguar Invizx a shot, since Id heard good things.

I had fish almost immediately. The wild browns were super aggressive and angry. I got a bunch to net relatively quickly. Then, I hooked one and felt my line graze a rock and snap. Invizx had no abrasion resistence. Totally disappointed in it.

I continued to fish, though I was nervous given the poor performance of the line. I somehow managed to slip and fall backwards into the river, soaking myself again. I caught a few more fish and decided to head back the car to change into dry clothes.

Since I was disappointed with Invizx and absolutely did not want to risk losing another fish, I ran to the nearest Walmart and picked up some new Vanish. I respooled and fished for a little while longer, catching some more wild browns. Nothing huge, all between 14 and 17 inches. But lots of them!
