Default upgrade for Ipilot/spot lock

Morning all, looking for help with the upgrade. I eventually want to upgrade to a motor with spot lock/ i-Pilot. I want to chip away at it since it is expensive. I currently only have a Helix 5 on the boat and need to upgrade that first. Without breaking the bank, what is the most cost-conscious FF to get that is compatible? Thanks
Happy and healthy holidays

Default Re: upgrade for Ipilot/spot lock

Guessing you want to stay with Humminbird?

Garmin has a lot of options but so does HB.

Look at the compatibility charts on the website for the minimum one compatible with iPilot and the Minn Kota Units. Whatever unit you get should be plug and play compaitible with your trandsucer and hopefully wiring as well.
