Looking at the stocking for channels Barbours pond/Dahnerts/Lower Passaic River are all I can seem to find within a 30 minute radius of Paterson that I can fish regularly. I've been skunked at Dahnerts and twice at Barbours so for now this is the best I got.  |

I see guys at pompton lake all the time. Dunno how the catfish are but there's pike and bass. Shouldn't be an awful drive. Also the ramapo man lake be worth a trip
