A prior commitment on Saturday meant I wouldn't be able to go chase tuna offshore, but I did have a small window in the morning to target my favorite freshwater species...northern pike.

Hit a couple of spots and ended up with a few fish. Here is the biggest of the day, which measured around 33" to the end of the body, however he was missing almost all of his tail, likely to another predator. With the tail, he would have been around 35 to 36". Didn't seem to affect the fish too much, as he was super fat and clearly in good enough shape to chase down a lure.

I ended up buying a selfie tripod for pics, and so far so good!

Cool pic dude!!! No shortage of Pike over there. Great looking fish! The fish are still aggressive and it's almost August! AWESOME!!!

The fishing seemed to be ridiculous yesterday, must've had something to do with the consistent weather and looming pressure change. Sounds like great pike fishing from a few guys.
