You're right Boston Pete... I think Barry Trotz is deserving of Coach of the Year and I'm hoping he'll be able to thumb his nose at the Caps Mgmt :D

I'm also hoping Quinn can get the Rangers going next year.... with some consistency of players on the team and lines that can be together long enough to get used to each other.... which was a big problem this year...

And finally with Sather "mostly" out of the picture... we'll have someone on top with real motivation to put together a Winner!! ;)

Players hated AV... would hardly ever give younger guys much of chance... would always keep veterans in even when they were awful.... didn't want any toughness on the ice... no banging... he loved himself more then the team....the fancy suits and NY lifestyle.... and after the final loss last year he said he was the best thing that happened to the Rangers and also got canned that same night.... hahahahaha doesn't matter what kind of numbers he has... cause he still hasn't drank from the Cup.

I guess I could say I’m shocked the Bolts lost the series let alone got swept BUT if you think about it, like their coach said, they haven’t played a meaningful game in over a month. Hard to turn it back on at the flick of a switch.

One thing that did amaze me, and I haven’t watched much of Bobrovsky, is how fast on his feet he is! From down on his knees to standing straight up and moving pipe to pipe, his quickness is noticeable over other goaltenders I watch.

Congrats Isles!!!!! Nice to see Cindy packing his golf bag nice and early!!!

Got back from fishing Raritan Bay last night at 9pm to catch the last period .... another action packed thriller right up to the last second .... Bobrovsky was crazy good (and definitely had some good luck from the posts)..... They are frustrating Boston .... Bruins top line has one point in three games. Getting frustrated and taking penalties just like they’ve always done in their playoff history. Penalties cost them in overtime Game 2 as well as the GWG in Game 3.

Hopefully Duff will launch his boat soon and invite his favorite Habs fan this summer. Had a nice haddock trip on the Bunny Clark up in Maine last Sunday.
Hope to fluke on Saturday for the NY opener. GHG!!

Well another NHL season is in the books. Mazel Tov to the St. Louis Blues as they went from worst to first. Simple coaching change adding Craig Berube, having HOF Larry Robinson work with the defensive corps, and a hot rookie goalie all played huge roles in the Blues winning their first Stanley Cup!

Beating the Bruins decidedly in Game 7 on their own home ice😛, watching Marchand cry 😛and booing Gary Bettman (every year) 😱 all happy playoff memories. Sorry Duff, I know this one hurts.

Can’t wait until the start of the 2019-2020 season.

He sends Shaw back to Chicago saving $4million, signs Kincaid as a back up who played himself out of Devils lineup and was expendable. Could have signed McIlhenny for less! Loses out on Anders Lee. Never had a shot at Panarin or Duchesne. Does lame offer sheet on Aho that Carolina will match.
