Hey all,

Been stalking these forms for a while now and decided it was time to join up!

What would be the best way to meet some people to fish with! I tend to end up alone on the yak or shoreline and it tends to be more fun with a buddy or two (sadly my friends are either way too busy or not the fishing types...).

Keep an eye out for the meet and greets posted... Lotta good friendly knowledgeable guy on here. Also look out for the whackos there's a few few of them on here too.

welcome to the site. i do not know what whackos capt topaz is referring to:rolleyes: you will find out the good guys on here are willing to help with some good stories for your entertainment. you will probably run into some of us out there as well. untill then tight lines:cool:

That my friend is an amazing website. Don't you judge!
Although not so sure my lady will be supportive of it.

However, I fish random small lakes generally near Kinnelon and I will be heading to Rykers Lake on Thursday :] With some hope of catching something nice. Hah.

Hahahahahaha! Welcome to the best fishing site around man. Very knowledgeable anglers here and quite a few of them. Good luck on your adventures and let us know how you do! If you need guidance use the search tool on this forum. Plenty of reports to read on here that go back a few years! Watch out for a few of the members though! There’s a lot of guys that just got out of there straight jackets!:D

Most of the regular posters on this forum fish so often you will inevitably run into them on the water or at the boat ramps. I have seen a lot of people from this forum on the water and even in the supermarket.

I've introduced myself to a few NJ-Fishing people when I see them, but I usually don't say anything when I see them because I'm awkward and avoid people. :D

Around Christmas time there is a meet-and-greet.

Ha! I am highly skeptical of the (female) talent pool on that site. With that said, if I was single I would probably be a member....

I mean, there are most likely 20 woman... 3 feels like an undershot. But of those 20, most of them are most likely guys, or girls into girls... Or more manly than you are :)
