Default Couple of Seeker Fluke and Blackfish rods

Here are a few rods I never posted pictures of. Hope you enjoy.

First up is a wrap on a Seeker Super Fluker. This rod is perfect for bouncing 4-8 oz bucktails for fluke, or dragging heavy bait in deep water 40+ feet where the doormats are waiting in ambush. First trip out this rod caught a 9.3# fluke. It is light weight and has a moderate fast action with plenty of backbone to handle big flatties. The moderate action helps keep the big ones hooked when they give those big head shakes that often allow them to throw the jig on stiffer, fast action rods when using braid. Captain Jerry of the Fish Monger he said to me the one I built him is hands down the best deep water ocean fluke rod he has ever used.

Next is a Seeker Super Tog. Moderate fast bend, light weight and can be cut to fish a range of weights and either mono or braid. This blank has landed tog to 19#.

The next two rods are built on some of my favorite old school style blanks, the Seeker PH-S36. They aren't the lightest but if you like an S-glass rod with lots of power for togging or when you have to break out some heavy lead (10+ oz) for fluke these are phenomenal. They also work great for offshore seabass and blue line tile jigging, or just about any other fishing when you want something that can take serious abuse. I have even jigged Bluefin to 60# with this rod. The first rod is a personal build and features premium cork with burl and holly wood inlays, Matagi painted seat, Fuji ELCSG/EMNSG guides from Japan, and exotic feather inlay. The second has a basic old school diamond, matching guide wraps and premium cork handle.
