Floro does seem to be stiffer then regular mono. If you are using a teaser, I would think it would help keep the teaser away from and fouling back on the up on the rig.

Thoughts on this??

Agree with you 100%. I hand tie my own rigs for fluke and the flouro dropper loops that I make for my teaser hook never get caught up on the line as my rig descends.

I've noticed that too in the past, little pricer, but I spend less time worring about my rig tangling up on the drop, and it seems to hold up much longer than regular mono. I've also used the 39" pre-cut lengths of mono I purchased online with similar success.

Folks,
My partner always points out in his seminars that Pink Flouro(25lbs) tied direct to the bucktail and 15lbs test braid is the best!! Less terminal tackle the better, lightest braid possible, smallest bucktail! Something he had learned from a good buddy of his who writes for the fisherman.
