Great weekend on sprucey goose for njfers! P.s satarday we had a laugh I had to share rod goes off on down rigger, I pull rod out holder fish yanked rod outta my hand in the drink.... first time ever... 45 mins later I see the rod floating I jump off the boat swim 15 feet grab the rod fish is still on! Treading water with one hand reeling with the other finally eddie scoops me up grabs the rod and fish comes unbuttoned �� We deserved this one ☝��

How does a rod float? I know the handles are cork, but that never stopped my rods from going to Davy Jones Locker. BTW congrats on the win.
