Familiar with 4000 all I can tell you is I use 5200 fast or
Slow cure depending on application etc. it is great
Stuff and would not use anything else.

I used the 4000 fast and it seems to be pretty strong. Weather permitting I will find out tomorrow.

Thanks for the help guys. It looks pretty strong and I got everything mounted without drilling any holes in my boat.

I have one more question related to the electrical. Since I do not have a fuse box on my boat the instructions say to hook up a 3 amp inline fuse using 18 gauge wire. I have some outdoor 14 gauge wire lying in my garage. From what I understand its OK to use the 14 gauge on something that they recommended 18 gauge on but it wouldnt be ok the other way around.
