Default Fuel near keansburg.

I would ask the marina where I'm dry docking, but afraid there might be a charge for the info LOL....I enjoy the dry dock, but somebody should talk to them about customer service WOW....and yes welcome to boating and marinas.

So if im coming out of keansburg, and dont want/cant run up to the highlands, where else can I get fuel?

Thanks

Pretty sure hh is referring to the marina that is to the left after coming in thru the gate... ( or to the right before heading out) Pretty sure they sell gas.. No diesel.. I keep my boat across the creek at Lentze's.. who has no fuel..but as i have a diesel, I have to look elsewhere.. As others mentioned, Keyport has lots of fuel, and if heading east, I'm pretty sure Monmouth Cove also has gasoline.

I had heard joe has interesting hours....I suspected I would need to goto keyport, I am/was curious where monmouth cove is, and will find it.

Just learning the area, but sure I will find it.

Had the maiden voyage with the family on sunday in that wind, and stayed in the keansburg cove, and looked around the keyport area as well.

Thanks.

Monmouth Cove is a County owned Marina in Port Monmouth, About half way between the Keansburg Pier & the Navy Pier. I believe they have gas but no deisel. Price is usually higher than surrounding marinas.

Thanks for the info.

Im on dry dock with lentze, but I don't really like them or how they do business, so wil be looking for a new place to go.

Ill probably start a new thread, but other suggestions in. that area would be accepted.

Joe has on the trailer for 675 for the season, but I did/do like the dry dock idea.

As I said, Monmouth Cove is a county Marina, used to be that preference goes to Monmouth County residents first. Don't know if it is still that way or not. They have both dry storage and floating docks. I have no idea of prices. Not too bad of a location as far as running to get outside or to the back of the bay.

Ill be down on friday and will take the ride over.

Ill check on the county thing cause I'm coming from essex.

You would figure with a marina half empty you would want to keep customers, but maybe that's why the marina is half empty.

Thanks.

I was considering dry dock service at Lentze for the rest of this season, after reading this I am doubting it...can yo give me some examples of the service over there ?? Patty seemed nice when talking by phone. Thanks for any input.
