Default Lake george boat rental

Hello NJ, heading up to lake george in August. Wife wants to rent a boat, has anyone rented a boat up there before. Most likely it will be for 1 day maybe 2, more to cruise around not really for fishing. Is it even worth doing?
Thank you.

Like BB said, just google it. Tons of rental places all over. I was up there last year and decided to tow my own rig up there after pricing out the rentals.

A CC for 6 days would have run me 2K. If your only gonna rent for a day or two it’s def worth it. Plenty of places to fish or just cruise and explore.

Where are you staying? You can rent a boat and cruise into the village and tie up at the public docks. Just like parking your car on the street. Tie up and feed the meter. Way better than driving the car into town.

Thanks, yes I have been looking online and yes it’s pricey.
We are staying at depe dene. I brought my boat last time we went, but the house that we rented came with a covered dock(pretty sweet)
I have 16ft Starcraft with a 9.9, wife want to cruise with kids not fish. Thanks for the reply’s.

For just a boat ride try Lake George Steamboat company.
Might be worth bringing your boat and pay to dock it or store it for a week. Cheaper than renting!
