Default battery question

I have a 10' john boat with a 40 lb# troll and I'm trying to find a lightweight deep cycle.. bad back...only need it to hold a charge for 1-2 hours tops.. small ponds and such.. any advice guys???? thanks

I have less of a draw, but been running ordinary lead -acid West Marine batteries for years. No problem. And not real expensive

Although I think some of the more expensive batteries like Optima are smaller, they still weigh a ton. You might check their site and see what it weighs compared to the regular lead acid ones.
