Hey Eddie, we'll just keep our fingers crossed the ice holds out. I'll see if I can get by SR and get an update on the ice. I go by there once a week or so for work.

Thanks Phil! I'm really hoping to get this one in. As of now the ice is still in great shape at Spruce according to my contacts. Hope to see you out there buddy. Will Tom be making an appearance as well? Keep your fingers crossed fellas. This party excites me the most just because I haven't been on Spruce in about 5 years. I'm really looking forward to it!!!!

Wouldn't miss it Ed. I was ready to poke some holes on the Eddys, but the ice goes away much faster on this running water. Saw a bunch of guys on the D when we had polar conditions.

Was out on Spruce today and Tuesday. LOTS of ice, like 10" in some spots. Couldn't get a pike on the line, nor could any of the other people out there today from what I saw. Jigged up a few perch though.
The ice should definitely hold up tho, there's so much of it. Also, I heard a rumor that people have ice fished the main lake at RV for trout. I didn't go look myself but that's what I heard.... |

I'm still good for the morning 'til noon or so. Then I need to head south for a party....tough life but somebody's gotta do it! I might actually fish this time.
