Mushin - canyon/tuna - 9/22-23, 9/29-30
MUSHIN OPEN BOAT CANYON/TUNA - 9/22-23 and 9/29-30. With TUNA fishing exploding in recent trips and kicking into high gear, here are our only OPEN BOAT TUNA trips for September from Point Pleasant!
Sailing Sat 9/22@9 am, returning Sun 9/23@1-3 pm Sailing Sat 9/29@9 am, returning Sun 9/30@1-3 pm Cost is $700 per person plus tip. Recent trips included great jig/popping/chunk bite on Yellowfin to 80 pounds. On Sunday’s trip (we came home early from planned overnighter with our limit and got tired of catch and release!), Capt. Alan actually got to throw the Mad Mantis frostbite colored popper and put 3 YFT in the boat in 15 minutes, then dropped the Sting-O jig and brought up another two in 10 minutes!
