Default Belmar rig

I would like to start using a bottom rig with no terminal tackle. Just need to know how the party boats connect a hook with a short leader to the top shot and lock it in with the sinker. I believe its called a Belmar rig. Tried you tube but could not find a video. Any help is appreciated.

Thats all i fish. I attach 40# mono via albright to my braid then reel in any where from 20-30 feet of the mono. Cut the leader off the spool then. Tie a very large surgeons loop. Attach your sinker via the loop. Then go up a few inches and attach your hook. I think there is a video ill try to find for ya
