Default Drysuit for yak fishing

Hey all, wondering if anyone has any experience or input on drysuits for kayak fishing. Been looking at Kokatat and they have great reviews, just want to know if there's anything out there better.

That's the one. The super nova is the style.
I would recommend the relief zipper option cause when u got to go this is the only way to pee

Kokatat is the brand you want, no question. I have the meridian, which is goretex. I can't recommend it enough. Better durability and added comfort with the breathability of goretex. The way I see it, if it's for safety then it better be comfortable otherwise your less likely to use it. Just make sure whichever one you choose, you stretch the gaskets prior to wearing it!

If you don't go out in extreme conditions,
Consider a 2 piece option

Dry top + dry pants + neoprene socks and booties

Dry suit is better - if you can get in and out of one

Good stuff thanks!! As a follow up, what about sizes? I'm guessing I'd want to size up so I'm able to layer up, but if they run big it might not be necessary. I'm 5'9" and about 175 lbs

Whichever one you choose..........make sure it has a relief zipper...even if it $100 more......get the zipper !!!
