Default Pro Cure Bait Dye

Decided to purchase some Pro Cure bait dye to enhance my squid strips. Cut up some thick strips and salted and dyed them in a ziploc bag and put them in the freezer. Looking at the ziploc looks like there is a good amount of residual dye in there. Anyone have any experience with this dye ? Should i allow them to sit for a day and then take them out and rinse out with saltwater and repackage to try and prevent the dye from staining the boat ?

Why not food coloring? Used it years ago and it worked then. Ant color you want.
