Thumbs up All over report, November!

Hit a wild Trout stream early this month with Skunk. Browns were all over the creek in certain stretches. Saw quite a few and landed some beauties. It was a tad to warm out there on this trip but thankfully this body of water runs really cold.

Got back to the salt for the most epic Fall Striper run I can remember. Mikey, Big Fonz and myself sailed with our buddy Garrett for the Striped fish on a nasty Saturday with super crappy conditions but the fish were still up on top hitting just about everything we threw. Good times and way less boats on this trip.

Back to the Trout streams to check on the Rainbows. This was a cold breezy Sunday morning but the fish didn’t mind. They smacked the plug very aggressively on the Pequest. Mikey was out that day as well crackin’ Bows with a client. They got it done.

Black “Walleye” Friday. One of my favorite days of the year to fish for them as the numbers are always great. Pull up to the first area to launch. Frozen with 1 inch of ice, no good. Take a ride to the next closest ramp and found open water. Yea buddy! At this time it was already noon and I was late to the game. Finally pull up to the hole and it was game on from the get go. Walleye after Walleye came to hand but nothing big. They were all skinny too but they will fatten up quickly in the coming weeks. Managed to land 17 fish from 12:30-4. Biggest one went 21 inches. Awesome action for a few hours.

Saturday the 26th, yesterday. Hit the Tog grounds for the first time in a while. It was windy and the current was ripping but the a thing was solid with 4 keepers to 16.25 inches coming to hand with ridiculous short life. The bite was so savage that I ran through 3 dozen Greenies in about 3 hours. Should’ve brought 4 dozen. Lol! Can’t wait to get on a boat for the Tog. Strong fish and great eating as well. Go get em’ boys! The feed bags are on and weather has been beautiful for the most part. It’s never over! TIGHT LINEZ!!!
