Default Big Laker

Tied my PB today, back on them where i left them off last winter/spring. Trolling wasn't doing crap for me except miniature smallies so i started jigging everything up. 50' depth they were aggressive from 9:45-11:45am ended up losing another big one about 10ft under the boat that felt at least as big as this one and had a bunch of bumps that didn't hook up too.

Such an awesome species. Great fish!

Are the laker fisheries any different between RV and MC?

Nice fish Chris. What'd she eat? Rap? Blade?

Nice laker.

With RVR's water level now higher, looking forward to wading / casting the Yo Zuri from the eastern shoreline this winter.

Yours looks like about the size of the biggest one that I've caught. The smaller ones I've caught, come flying out of the water when initially hooked.

i've caught 3 big ones over the past year...every one was pretty much 29" on the dot, including this one haha. And yes i feel like the two fisheries are very different...I do well here but i can't jig crap at the other place using the same methods. This one was on a jig/swimbait. usually i go with the rap or spoon.
