Gerry,

Nice. But it's missing a fair amount of stuff.

Zubach's ( a sponsor) ramp isn't on there for the ramps. And a few others are missing Like Sewaren, South Amboy and Great Kills ramps.

We have enough users, our site should have a Ramp resource with comments from our membership ramp users.

Any idea?

Hello Frank and thank you for taking the time to go through the site.

Zubach's and Sewaren (listed as Woodbridge) both appear on the map.

The ramp you mention in South Amboy was not located when we did our field survey. If you could provide a street address we will research it and see if they want to be listed.

Please keep in mind that the owners of some ramps and pumpouts did not want to listed in our online and hard copy publications.

We have limited data for out of state locations, but would like to expand this as we continue to build the site and welcome any locations you can provide.

We appreciate your feedback and welcome suggestions on we can improve it.

Thanks again for visiting NJBoating.org.

I would always call first before assuming the pump out is working. We tried several of the spots listed in the Manasquan area only to find that they were not working properly or at all. My guess is that they don't have too many calls for pump outs. Of course, it was October when we called. The pump out boat service is worth using during the summer months. It does make me wonder how many boats are just flushing their heads overboard and not into the holding tanks.

We encourage you to call ahead for pumpouts and ramps to make sure they will be open and operational.

Please report a pumpout not working by calling 732.292.1051 or info@mtanj.org.
