Miss Belmar - Thursday blues, fluke & sea bass!

Wednesday afternoon, we fished just north of the inlet and had very good fishing with lots of shorts being caught, as well as, 12 keeper fluke and about a dozen or so nice big sea bass. There was also plenty of action with skates and sea robins and a very large cownose ray.

Today, we looked north of shark river inlet for blues and saw some on top, however, we were only able to jig one three pounder. We finished the day up with PLENTY of fluke action along with some nice sea bass. We got a call from The Brooklyn out of Sheepshead Bay this afternoon and they found fish to the north of our inlet and they were catching jumbo blues all day jigging. It was too late for us to go there today so we will check it out tomorrow.
