If you just fish November which is really not to cold in most cases, a lot of boots will fit the bill, however if you go through the winter, I've used & can highly recommend "Kamik " pac boots, especially the Goliath models!! No matter how cold when I'm standing on boat, feet warm as toast with decent hi quality cold weather socks.

Try a second pair of socks as well. Thin, preferably silk next to your skin and then a heavier pair over the thin ones.

"Muck Boot" is the warmest thing I've had on my feet.
I found Amazon the cheapest place to buy them.
