Default Is winterizing necessary

I have a 9.9 that I keep in a unheated garage. I may or may not use it this winter, The battery is hooked up and connected to a tender. Any thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated.

Salt its worth the $8 bucks to fog it out for the winter. Fog out the carbs, pull the plugs spray the fog into the cylinders start it once and shes good. Simple process to save an expensive motor.
